I have Italian and Mexican roots. I speak English and am currently learning Spanish. As for determining my mother tongue that would require me to research my ancestry as there were over 60 languages spoken in Mexico at one point and I have no knowledge of what my mother tongue is or if it still exists. I do not speak Italian. The preservation of Italian, Spanish and English all exist and are under little threat as far as I know
